It is an honour for me on behalf of KSA National to welcome and congratulate you to the installation of the Federal University of Health and Nutrition, Azare as the first Vice-Chancellor.

The establishment of a university on the emirate represents a vitally important step in our participation in the national and global knowledge economy.

Not only does this signify a ‘coming of age’ of the Katagum Emirate, but the University will also project the emirate both nationally and internationally and support our economic development.

Katagum, with all of its concomitant potential economic consequences, is no less important with regard to its effect upon the higher education landscape.

Nonetheless, whatever challenges the future may bring, there is no doubt that under the leadership and guidance of Professor Bala Audu and his strong Principal Officers, the University will make Katagum Emirate proud.
