KSA to Distribute Free Application Forms as New Excos Visits ASCOEA

In the Morning of Friday, January 14th 2022, the members of the executive council of Katagum Students Association under the leadership of the National President, Kamal Kabir paid Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare a strategic visit.

During the visit, the excos were privileged to meet the new Provost in her office, along with other principal officers of the college.

It could be recalled that Professor Asabe Sadiya Mohammed was appointed as the Provost of Aminu Saleh College earlier last month; on the 24th of December, 2021.

During his speech, the National President requested for collaboration with the college in organizing fruitful programs of the association that will promote the value of education, which is the life wire for the development of any society.

The Provost then expressed her happiness for the gesture, prayed for the success of the new leaders’ tenure and cautioned them to lead by example. She particularly urged them to be prudent, transparent and accountable.

Prof Asabe also pledged her support, commitment and contribution to the noble cause of the KSA.

In the same vein, the management of the college seeks to offer free application form through KSA, for both PRE-NCE, NCE and Undergraduate programs to prospecting students of Katagum who are willing to study at the college.

The National President expressed his sincere gratitude to the management saying that the gesture would give sons and daughters of the less privileged from the area an equal opportunity to further their education.

The offer is expected to assist prospective students to realise their dreams and cushion the financial burden of parents that cannot afford the forms.

The general public is hereby to not that a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC) WAEC, NECO or GCE ‘O’ Level, NABTEB and any other equivalent with Five (5) Credits at one or two sittings is required for the undergraduate program, two of the credits must be relevant to the course the applicant wishes to offer, while Credits in English and Mathematics are required.

As for NCE, Three (3) credits are expected and Two (2) credits for Pre-NCE, noting that credits in English and/or Mathematics may be required in some courses to meet the departmental requirement.
